I read the marketing plan, fell in love with the products and five years on I am pleased that I made the decision to become an Independent Beauty Consultant.

My biggest concern about starting a Mary Kay business:

Who will buy from me. But my first facial with a friend purchased the Miracle Set and foundation and I was so excited that I could sell £103 in an hour and earn myself £41!

How I've changed:

Apart from earning extra money, my life has changed a lot since I have come into contact with a number of women of different nationalities and help them and me become confident about ourselves.

Finding time:

I have found that time has always been available, its how you channel it that makes a difference. I incorporate as much as I can into my business two days a week and am still available every night to put my kids to sleep, and all my other functions of being a wife, mother, employee, daughter etc.
